ABOUT RUMAH K.I.D.S.
BACKGROUND
Persatuan Rumah K.I.D.S. has been operating shelter homes for the orphaned, the abused, abandoned, and neglected children since 1991. Presently they are caring for 36 children from 3 year old to 18 years of age in 4 homes. More than 300 children have grown up in the shelter homes since 1991. They are registered with the Registrar of Societies Welfare Department, Majlis Perbandaran Klang and other related government departments to ensure the legal operation of our Home. Each year their accounts are audited to assure the public of their accountability.
MISSION
- To provide food, shelter, clothing, education, tender love and care for the orphans, abused and abandoned children in a loving and caring family environment and the participation of the child in line with the Child Act (2001), United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). Safe Place Regulations 2007 and Care Centers Act 1993.
VISION
- Children are created in the image of God. Besides caring for their physical well-being, providing them education and vocational training, we ensure the children are put in a conducive environment where they can grow up with good personalities and godly characters. Our Vision is to see that they become the person God wants them to be and be useful and productive for the community, the church and the nation.
